Local Chapters

During COVID, we suspended our local chapters, and we’re in the process of rebuilding. To get involved in your local area, contact the VGEA at info@vgea.org.

Many of our chapters developed organically as a means for members to convene and bring pertinent employee issues in their agencies and or localities. Chapters offer a venue for engaging with other members, membership recruitment, and association promotion. They also allow local members to serve, recognize, and engage with state employees.

We have had active chapters in the following areas:

Northern Virginia Region (Prince William)
Richmond (Retiree and Greater RVA)
Southside
Shenandoah
Hampton Roads region (Tidewater and Peninsula)
