Bill Information

This bill seeks to drastically increase the Commonwealth’s telework goal by amending and reenacting § 2.2-2817.1 of the Code of Virginia, relating to state agencys’ telecommuting policy:

By January 1, 2010 2024, each state agency, except the Department of State Police, shall have a goal of not less than 20 45 percent of its eligible workforce telecommuting.
