Active participation by VGEA members is critical to our continued success on pay, health care, retirement and workplace protections. General Assembly members need to hear from VGEA members when crafting laws that affect state employees and retirees. As a citizen of the Commonwealth of Virginia, it is your right to voice your opinion regarding pending legislation that affects you and your family. There are many ways in which State employees, retirees and their family members can communicate with their legislators; phone calls, letters, email, or through visits to their legislative offices.
