Richmond, VA – As the summer draws to a close, the Virginia Governmental Employees Association (VGEA) is gearing up for its highly anticipated Annual Meeting, scheduled for Saturday, September 14, 2024.

The Annual Meeting is a cornerstone event for the VGEA, bringing together members from across the Commonwealth for a day of insight, connection, and shared purpose.

What’s on the Agenda?

The meeting will feature a comprehensive update on the state of the association. Attendees will also hear from Dylan Bishop, the VGEA’s lobbyist, who will provide key insights into our legislative priorities for 2025 and the advocacy efforts that directly impact Virginia’s state employees and retirees.

In addition to these updates, we are pleased to welcome the Virginia Department of Human Resource Management (DHRM) and the Virginia Retirement System (VRS).
